2、nevertheless：英 [ˌnevəðəˈles]美 [ˌnevərðəˈles] 英美式发音是不一样的；adv. 然而; 不过; 尽管如此;conj. 然而，不过
相同点：都含有“虽然，尽管”之意
不同点：despite书面用词，指不受某事或某种原因的阻碍，语气轻于in spite of。nevertheless指尽管作出完全让步，也不会发生任何影响。
【用法说明】
despite有时解释为“虽然有……”。
in despite of和despite of也表示“不管，尽管”，但是使用不普遍；
从语气上看，despite比in spite of要轻。
Nevertheless可以做副词。它限定或修饰动词、形容词或另一个副词, 也是“联系副词(conjunctive adverb)”。该词可用于单个独立从句的开头、中间或结尾，这是连词副词的特征之一。

however的内涵更多，用法更灵活,nevertheless使用使用范围较窄.
